Dr. Helmut Crott<\/strong>, world expert and the father of horological auctions, once said: \u201cEvery major collector owns at least one Henri Grandjean.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>

Several \u201cHenri Grandjean\u201d models (sometimes spelled \u201cHenry,\u201d \u201cHri,\u201d or \u201cEnrique\u201d) regularly delight serious collectors and regulars at watch auctions. Some of these pieces were specifically intended for South America or India via the British market. There are still more to be found and located. Here is a selection of a few pieces.<\/p>\n

The Watchmaking Museum in Le Locle, Ch\u00e2teau des Monts, has a Henri Grandjean Fund and, as such, a conservation mission that goes beyond the scope of the exceptional pieces on display and restored. There are also a few exceptional pieces in the Patek Philippe Museum and the Royal Collection in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The aim of bringing together images of timepieces, visuals, historical documents, and any other form of contribution to the knowledge of Henri Grandjean goes hand in hand with the quest to raise funds to acquire them.
